City, State you live in:
Verona, NJ by Verona Park
One Great Achievement:
Being a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and serving as President of the New Jersey Chapter was a great achievement in my career. Another amazing achievement, since I do design custom furniture and lighting, was when asked to design a permanent bench that would sit in front of NJPAC and would be dedicated to the founding members of the WA. I am so proud of that bench and table that was designed to complement the building that it sits in front of NJPAC!
My latest book club selection is American Dervish by Ayad Akhtar. I am also looking forward to the new Harper Lee book being released.
As so many involved business owners, I lack the time to properly devout myself to social media….Facebook posts and some blogging when I have a wonderful intern who keeps me active with this important marketing tool!
Philosophy of Life:
I have my mantras that I am always dishing out to myself and friends: “One day at a time.” And “live in the moment!” It is how I feel joy so often!
Chocolate, champagne and massages!
What’s a favorite restaurant in NJ? And what dish do you love there?
Living next door to Montclair affords us an abundance of amazing restaurants. One of my favorites is Finn–the seafood is always fresh and well prepared, always an amazing meal!
What’s one thing you love about the WA?
I do so enjoy the networking events; especially when we witness the talent of students who benefit from fundraising programs! So much talent and confidence in their talent is being cultivated.
One thing most people don’t know about me:
That I owned a wholesale dessert business at one time in my life!
