CC Minton is the author of Daddy’s Greek Potato Pie and a contributing editor to Harlem World Magazine. She writes a section called “Up Close with CC Minton” where she recently took readers inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House Kids State Dinner. A sports fan, CC tackled big business in 2014 when she and her team provided bits and bytes at the Official NY/NJ Super Bowl VIP Tailgate Party. CC is the recipient of the 2014 President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Community Leadership Award. A social entrepreneur, CC’s philanthropic endeavors include project chair for the Junior League’s Health and Nutrition Initiative, serving as guest panelist with the Jack and Jill of America Foundation’s Childhood Obesity Forum and hosting a walk/talk event in honor of “America on the Move Week.”
