About the Event:

A compelling interview with bestselling author Benilde Little whose groundbreaking fiction challenges entrenched stereotypes of African Americans. She was among the first authors to put on the page intelligent, edgy stories about class and relationships among contemporary African American men and women. Her novels include Good Hair, The Itch, Who Does She Think She Is, and Acting Out. We’ll learn about her new autobiographical book and get to know this NJ-based author! Books available for sale and autograph! Plus, networking, bubbly and a sweet!

WA Trustee Marcia Wilson Brown will lead the conversation.
